Athena Fun Facts
Just some extra facts about Athena.
In the Roman myths, Athena was known as Minerva. That's right, not the name of a planet here!
Not just the goddess of wisdom, but also of crafts, domestic arts, and war. You thought Ares was the god of war? Well, I did too, and I was wrong. Either that, or they are both gods of war.
Athena's symbol was the owl. No wonder people think owls are so smart!
Originally, she was the great goddess in the form of a bird. Later, she was finally deemed the goddess of wisdom.
Some of the heros she helped were Perseus, Jason, Cadmus, Odysseus and Heracles.
Hope you enjoyed these fun facts. More info to come!
